Mad Vision Set to Launch at Vision Expo West
New Wholesaler Will Debut Brands Including Red Bull Racing Eyewear, iHuman Adaptable Eyewear, Von Arkel Switzerland and More
Mad Vision is the collaboration of an 18-year veteran in the optical business, Guillaume Pottecher, and Marc Aptakin, owner of Mad Studios, a full-service advertising and marketing agency based in South Florida. Together they have conceptualized a collaboration between wholesale distribution and a fully integrated marketing platform to develop a competitive strategy based on individual customer aspirations.
Presenting its full spectrum of optical and non-optical styles, Mad Vision will attend Vision Expo West in Las Vegas on September 17th-19th, to showcase its current lines, including Red Bull Racing Eyewear, iHuman Adaptable Eyewear, Von Arkel Switzerland, and the Guild of Spectacles Eyewear.
On his motivation to begin the company, Marc Aptakin explains, “In today’s market, there are very few companies dedicated to men’s eyewear that connect high brand values and innovative products at the consumer level. Currently, you have to choose between function and fashion. Conversely, Mad Vision is geared toward the men’s market with innovation, distinct sportiness, avant-garde fashion, and modern luxury. Our vision is to become the leading men’s eyewear provider in the United States.”
While Mad Vision has quickly secured licensing deals in its first few months in business, the company is aggressively looking for brands eager to enter the U.S. market.
