GoGig Introduces a New Way for Job Candidates & Employers to Connect
In early April, GoGig launched its mobile professional networking platform for candidates to confidentially match and network with high value companies, creating the single most powerful professional network for passive candidates.
Inspired by the user-friendly experience of popular dating sites, GoGig uses the parallels of confidential dating and professional networking to offer a new career platform designed specifically for non-active candidates. Features such as a personality & career desire algorithm, big data analytics, social networking, and most importantly, confidentiality, are used to match candidates directly to recruiting professionals.
GoGig Founder Chris Hodges explains that, “GoGig gives candidates a way to express their desires and personality traits on a public profile, without exposing what they desire to their entire network. GoGig’s dev team has built an algorithm that serves the 5x larger passive job market that is currently employed, but confidentially wants to start networking on the side to see what else may be out there. Candidates don’t have to waste their time with job postings, resumes, CVs, applying, or swiping. Similar to a dating site, hiring companies outreach if there’s a fit; and candidates get to speak to a warm body on the other end.”
GoGig was developed in-house at its office in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. Chris Stegner, Partner at Mad Development and developer of GoGig, goes on to say “GoGig was built with not only a unique algorithm to align candidates and companies, but also with an API that would be able to offer full functionality on a range of current and future devices.” GoGig has full functionality on iOS and web, with Android coming soon.
GoGig’s prestigious advisory board includes Founder of Hire.com (exit 2005), Hank Stringer, the Chief Accounting Officer from Zumba Fitness, a Mobile Advertising Executive from Sprint & AT&T, and Dr. Elan Barenholtz from FAU’s Center for Complex Brain Science & Psychology Department.
GoGig will offer Free and Premium packages to employers during their 4-month Beta Launch in South Florida. After the Beta concludes, monthly subscriptions for hiring organizations will range from $20 to $380 per user, but will always remain free to candidates to match and network with hiring professionals.
